Thanks android BenQ's Palette Master installed on MAC does not see the monitor that is connected via the mini monitor so you can't calibrate it. is there a way around this

Hi there I have the PV 270 that is attached to a mac vis Ultrastudio mini monitor. Does any one know how I calibrate the monitor through the mini monitor as I understand it this affects the screen image. Or should I just connect direct to the HDMI output of the mac?

When I say manual balance I mean by using a white card. Not dialling in kelvin.

When I use a Dummy Coupler with an external Battery I cannot do a manual White Balance - nothing happens. If I put a battery into the camera it works fine. If I use the Genuine AC adapter and Dummy Coupler and try and do a white Balance the Camera shuts down. Put a battery back in and it works as normal. Obviously something wrong with the Camera. Others have had this issue. Anyone had this experience and know what the problem is?

I have the Aputure FineHD VS-2 and I don't like it at all. Mainly because its hard to focus. I also have an older DP6 which is much better in colour and focus. Anyway I still would like to get a 7". Anyone used the Cinemartin Loyal LT 7? - good reviews. I would love a SmallHD 702 bright but at this stage cost is a factor. The main difference in specs between the Cinemartin and the FineVS-2 is that the Cinemartin is 1080 resolution and 200 nits brighter.- the VS-2 1920 x 1200. But then going by specs they should both be better that the DP6 but... must be other factors at play.

Bought 2 of these and they do not fit onto a LS1 LED. Happy to be proven wrong. Will just fit onto a LEDGO 600W LED but covers a row or two of LED's. Personally I would wait for the promised larger size version.
