I recently was looking for a new camera, and I, too, re-discovered a forgotten camera. It produces a truly analog, organic look. I got a Sony Handycam Pro Hi8 camera, with CCD sensor!

Disclaimer: I'm not making fun of anyone, I just found that old broken camera buried in a box and couldn't resist the dumb joke.

XC10 is quite a special camera for its purpose indeed, I don't think it's bad. 
Don't know why BMCC is lower. I was actually planning to get one instead of NX1.
 

I'm out of topic here but actually I think lack of smart EF-NX adapter is not a big deal. In fact the aperture adjustment of the EF lenses are never smooth, why bother if we use manual focus? Buying a couple of Nikon / Contax / ZF / FD / MD / OM lenses does make a lot of sense to me, they have much smoother manual focus with hard stop and declickable aperture ring.
