  1. Hey, so we have removed all the limitations from the newest RAW 4 PRO EASY edition. It no longer requires an Internet connection, there's no registration, and it can be installed/reinstalled an unlimited number of times on your PCs. Truly easy. The ONLY converter with Cineform RAW output, sanctioned by Cineform. I'd like to offer a discount code to EOSHD members: put EASY in the cart and apply coupon eoshd81off This lowers the price from $110 all the way down to just $29. Thanks for reading.
  2. Just released RAW 4 PRO v5.1 with improvements and low-cost options. Free demo / updates here: http://Raw4pro.com
  3. ...and now RAW 4 PRO v 3.0 supports Blackmagic Production Camera 4K RAW clips, too!
  4. So since the last post, we have tested RAW 2 CF RAW with BMCC, Digital Bolex, Ikonoskop DNGs - all successfully. Now moving on to the BATCH edition. It will, of course, still merge audio. The resulting video is RAW, so you can apply LUTs for instant grading, etc.
  5. Practice, review the results, see what you liked and capitalize on it. See what you (and other viewers) disliked, and change/improve it.   Eternally learning videographer...

    Hack for 5Dmk2

And then you'll want this to process your RAW:   RAW 2 CF RAW quickly converts large raw frames into the video raw files, ideal for real-time previews and edit. Automatic audio merge!   Support on Kickstarter: http://kck.st/16j9MRP
  7.   I looked a bit further, and here it says that .raw "...files cannot currently be processed directly by any video editor.  Each RAW file encapsulates the frames in DNG format so we need to extract these frames first"   Source: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?topic=5654.0   It then proceeds to explain how to extract DNG out of .raw   So then, that would be your step 1 in case of 5D Mk III - produced raw video.   Step 2 would be using RAW 2 CF RAW if you wish to get an easily viewable/editable video raw out of that DNG sequence. I do this a lot (albeit with BMCC's DNGs.)
  8.   I downloaded 5D III RAW sample ( DNG frame sequence folder) from here: http://neumannfilms.net/2013/05/21/red-epic5d3-raw-tests/   ...and converted it with our RAW 4 PRO utility to CineformRAW just fine - see here: http://goo.gl/IU9qqJ   Sorry, I'm not closely following the developments - are there other raw formats 5D III saves video in? Where can I download some samples?
  9. Andrew, guys: There might be another alternative now. Check out: raw4pro.com I am both a programmer and a videographer. For me, this RAW to CineformRAW conversion app works great. Thanks, Alex
