  1. :)

i dont know if i am interested because i dont what that is :)

anyways i figured out seeing previous auctions, is an 8mm lens made for the beaullieu film cameras that has a 1.5 iscorama attachment. According to wikipedia is the same mechanic and design as the famous isco 36.

What i still dont know is what's the control box attached to the lens.

  2. I think Canon is a huge company and they have an enormous amount of users. They make reilable cameras an lenses for professional users and filmmakers and they earn big cash.

The problem is that they think they can afford to be total dicks, as in this interview, and ignore competitors who have better cameras at half the price and, most importantly, ignore new users who cant pay for a C300.

Canon current users will grow old and die, and so will Canon.

  3. its rare - no one in their right mind will sell theirs!!

But there are very good alternatavies like the Sigma 30mm f1.4  ( newer aspheric elements , faster and dare I say sharper too ) which I personally think is a very cinematic looking lens and cheap

if the Sigma was nicknamed 'Hollywood ' everone would buy one.......

it was designed as an APSC lens so its entire making was for approx super 35mm size sensors - hence its cinematic looking feel to it.  this lens is no use on your full frame 5D - but great on aspc and micro 4/3

I use mine with a Lens Turbo speedbooster on my G6 - its getting on for f1.2 - now thats fast and sharp

it is far from 60$ right?

  4. I resume this post juat to let you know that i finally bought a Baby Hypergonar 2 months ago.

it gives very pleasant results and attached to a Switar 50 mm fits in the palm of my hand.

    I'll post some tests soon.
