  1. I'm looking for an remote control for my Panasonic GH3 to make video. And I'm not interested in the wifi option. It should set focus, adjust aperture and have follow focus functions. Something like the Manfrotto DSLR video clamp or or the Aputure dec remote control and follow focus (which will have a speedbooster option soon). Does one of these work on the Panasonic GH3 with Panasonic lenses? Or are there other options? I wrote to Panasonic but they don't have information on third parties. Anybody?
  2. I have two separate plugs for two mics. In the mixer there is a monitor level for both mics. But in my footage file I only got one audio track. Working with FCPX.
  3. Next friday I will have a shoot. Using a lavalier, dslr, shotgun and the audiorecorder DSLR from beachteck. I'm not sure if I will use the sound of my shotgun as we are in a very airy space where sound with the shotgun could be bad. Thinking of wiring my lavelier into the audiorecorder to my dslr as well. But is there a way to record two separate audio tracks with the beachteck? So I can ditch the shotgun track if I don't like it? Thanxs for helping

  5. I need to work with some stock footage and obviously I found good shots but it is diffrent from my own footage in Framerate, Resolution and Video Encoding. The question is how to handle them in FCP X? Which differences can be handled, how and which really can't? I will use the shots in a flashback scene where we see only a very short moment the added footage and the go back to the here and now footage I made. So probably the loss of a bit of quality won't be a drama? - I'm usually working with framerate 23.97, 1920 x 1080, MOV - Added Stockfootage A = 25, 1920 x 1080, H2.64 - Added Stockfootage B = 25, 1920 x 1080, Photo JPEG - Added Stockfootage C = 29.97, 1920 x 1080, Photo JPEG - Added Stockfootage D = 25, 1920 x 1080, Photo JPEG Thank you for helping!
  6. Which option only the H4N? - what about the monitoring when booming? You need an extra mic don't you? Which one do you use?
  7. I'm thinking of buying a few videos out of stock video. As I need some shots I can't produce around this time of year. The bought shots will be only a few seconds in my video. But the footage is not the same in frame rate. Is this a problem and can I solve it? Are there more things to consider combining different footage together? I will buy from http://videohive.net - any good? Thanx for the help!
  8. MMM I red this article today and it gives me enough reason not to buy it. http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php... Ok is a H4N and a good mic for booming a better option. If so - which mic is good against low price to use for booming?

    Light question

What is exact the problem with the light around 2:31 and how could this be solved. I figure something with locking the light or... ? I already figured out the other light problem with the flickering ;-)
  11. Yep I know lots of work! Taking my first steps on motion graphics and it takes ages! I got all the shots figured out only this one is still going around in my head I'm working on a one man band as well... It's about bread thrown away and while hitting the bin he has a flashback of it's life so a pretty long shot. I'm now thinking of doing a lot of cuts to prolong the time. Moving my camera with a slider towards the black of the bin, Bread falling, maybe not using the flashback of the throw away footage as overlay but as separate scene's just to extend the falling time.
  12. I'm using the Zoom H1 and a rode lav as a mobile lab. kit. Works good.
  13. Yup I already thought of this. But thank you annyway!
  14. If you would buy a light which should be portable, strong enough to light a set with a few people and doesn't get too hot. Which creates together with natural light and a reflector a three point lighting. Which light would you buy?
  15. I wanna complete my audio kit and wondering about the best bet to do it for the cheapest price and the lessest gear. Could you advise me? My thoughts are: - I think it's is a wise idea to sometimes do two audio tracks separately as a one man band - just to be on the safe site - so need an extra recorder - I wanna buy the H5 or H6 because I can add a shotgun mic to it which makes me also able to boom with it. http://www.bax-shop.nl/shotgun-/-richtmicrofoon/zoom-sgh-6-shotgun-microfoon-voor-zoom-h6-handheld-recorder/product-details.html My kit now is : - Rode shotgun microfoon - Rode lavalier - Beachteck DXA-SLR Pro fieldmixer - Zoom H1 recorder used as a wireless broadcaster with Rode dasspeld - Samson G-Track (cardioïde) met PS01 pop filter (voice over) Wise or Stupid? Thank you for helping!
