Clearly no screen on the drone cam if the back is taken up by the LP-6 battery. The URSA Mini form factor is the one I am most interested in. If it's tiny, it will be a winner.

The new lightweight portable URSA Mini has a much smaller screen and looks a bit like a DVX100. New Blackmagic sensor is 4.6K, 15 stops. New Blackmagic Cinema Camera is also to be announced at NAB. Resolve 12 will be released shortly afterwards.

We broadly control how much we put out onto the internet. That's our right. If someone takes that away from you and posts carte blanche a ton of the uttermost private info, I don't agree that.

Trust me Ed you shouldn't be taking abuse condemnations from guys like Vincent Gafney and Salah Baker on twitter. Highly abusive themselves all the time on social media, often to me.

It's Kinefinity raw so their own format in-camera and with a simultaneous (and actually rather lovely looking) CineForm proxy. Then you have a very speedy converter app to create the Cinema DNG on your PC or Mac. Then it is into Resolve to grade or edit. What I did was grade in there then ProRes for Premiere. But if you need a faster turnaround you can just edit straight off the card with the CineForm Proxy, then do one big render at the end off the raw.

  Camera provided by Kinefinity and HDVideoShop. Final hardware but pre-release firmware with some modes such as "Golden 3K" for 16-stop dynamic range not yet enabled. The Kinefinity KineMAX is a serious piece of kit. It is possibly the best image I have ever shot with. Because of a minority of users on this forum who want to continue to sling mud in various directions I am closing the thread now. Had to delete some nasty remarks. For those who kept it level-headed, thank you. Whatever the truth I hope for forgiveness and recovery for both sides.

Everyone, let me know if you feel strongly about moving on from this topic and I will lock it. I find it quite dark, with a high potential for trouble.
