Kris Posted July 24, 2022 Share Posted July 24, 2022 Hello Everyone, Recently I bought EOS 5DS R and have eperienced problem with aperture. The camera does not set the aperture below f/2.8, neither in the M mode nor in the Av mode. I can operate with wheels as to set the higher f-number (f/5.6, f/8 up to f/22), but nothing below f/2.8. I have checked with several different “bright” lenses, in particular Canon 24mm f/1.4 II and Canon 50mm f/1.2. I have also restored the factory settings, change the battery - nothing has helped.
