Hello, I humbly looking for your experience and guidance. I bought my DSLR 4 years ago as a hobby, a Canon 650D, and started a small video gaming blogg in norwegian for fun. I'm slowly starting to learn more of the filmworld, and I got spoiled and have the opportunity to buy some new camera gear. I will probably not make make a living out of it and it will stay as a hobby. I'm 32 years old, live in Norway and need a little creative outlet.

What I think I'm going to end up shooting (if i do it at all :flushed:) is tech/gear videos, event shoots, infomercials, interviews, travel vlogg and food recipe videos. So I been looking into the A7S II for low light convenience and IBIS. Buy 1 nice zoom lens and maybe 1 prime within the budget. Or should I consider a cheaper body and get maybe an external recorder, mics and lights instead. I'm really looking for a light and easy setup, as I shoot mostly on the go,when I'm not at home making vloggs. I currently have a cheap LED light (with color temperature controll) and a RØDE videomic pro. There are so many interesting cameras like a6300, Fuji t2, c100, xc10, NX1 and more. I can get the budget up to a FS5, but kind of feel like an overkill. I'm not currently invested in any gear or lenses, still rocking the 650D with the cheap 50mm and 28mm + kit lense.

I must admit I am currently leaning towards the A7SII.

You can view my entry to the video world here, don't pay to much attention to the blown highlights and muddy blacks. Mostly done in as flat color profile I could and slapped on a lumetri color (?) in premiere. Sill much to learn about story telling, histograms, ligjht, sound, white balance and all that good stuff.

I'm a huge fan of many of you guys here on the EOSHD, lot of great video work! :D

Thank you for your time, and I hope I'm able to contribute and help in the future.
