Recording time with out battery grip---in 4k is 15 minutes at max 200 mbps.(X-T2 is 10 minutes at max 100 mbps)
full hd is 20 minutes compared to X-T2 15 minutes
so you need battery grip to extend recording time? this is crap i wanted to like this camera and 20 minutes for hd really?

the number one thing i hated about my a6300 was battery life it seemed i needed to change batteries every 30 minutes just having it on quickly drained batteries. i did not experience overheating i dont shoot long takes. once you have ibis you never want to go back

anyone got tips for matching colors gh5 and a6500. a6500 seems like the best camera to use on a gimbal for me

To everyone who already activated V-log:
Have you tried to tweak your GH5's picture profile with the James Miller (like) settings? I tried to use a similar setting on my GH4, but it was a mess. Now, that the GH5's got 10bit, can you increase the dynamic range just by tweaking the camera settings?
Thanks!
what are his settings? i bought his lut pack still testing it out. does anyone know the name of his lut where he films his wife in, theres so many luts to sort through

Yes, I'd pretty much given up on adapted lenses myself, I much prefer having a smaller, lighter kit. My back was about to give out this morning. But I thought since so many are considering pairing the Sigma 18-35mm with the GH5 that there might be some interest in seeing how it performs on the G85, which is why I'm making another video.
yes i am wondering how heavy and cumbersome that setup would be for handheld and how it would perform with ibis.

You didn't read my posting on page 16? "With the mobile app, the obstacle is the little swish-movement to exit the manufacturer's screen ("save" without that doesn't save the setting!)."
yes it works. i guess my firmware was not updated and i could not save any setting
