  1. Can anyone confirm if the ntsc hack for gx80 also gets rid of the 30 min limit ? i cant find this anywhere on the web, dont want to fiddle around too much without confirmation... thanks.
  2. I really like this. Also the shop, I am sure there is nothing like this over here... how did you handle white balance ? The high contrast at the counter, did you try getting the contrast setting all the way down to -5, and then adjust highlight/shadow curves in camera until you have a nice result ?
  3. The orignal Lumix L1 kit lens, which I bought in 2008: Leica D Vario-Elmarit 14–50mm f/2.8–3.5 (I got the L1 + lens for 750 euro instead of the "new" price of 2000 euro a year before. The L1 was outdated when it came out. Which is strange, because I still take still pictures with it ! Less now since I have the GX80) with the Panasonic 43 to m43 adapter. Works great on manual focus, AF takes about 1 second ... The above shot is probably on 50mm f3.5, sharpness -5, NR -5.
  4. a screenshot of a recent shoot (my second video only...) with my Gx80. This is straight out of camera, 1080p. Shot with available light (8 halogens above the stage).
  5. CA is only an issue with non-panasonic bodies. It is 100% corrected in-camera.
  6. There is a short manual (100p) and a long manual (385p) - you need the long one !
  7. Hi, I just registered to this site. I have a GX80 since this summer, and did a few shoots with it. Battery life was around 35 minutes (4K, Ibis on, manual focus). According to the manual, actual shooting time is 40min in 4K. The G85 manual states the actual shooting time as 45 min, so you should at the very least also get 35 real minutes out of it. I got 2 spare (non-Panasonic) batteries. It is important to get them charged right before the video shoot, they will lose capacity when just sitting there for a week.
