    Why not ask the iFFmpeg people? The helpdesk is extremely fast

    ​The latest iFFmpeg 5.4 version has about the fastest ProRes encoding. A movie that previously took 60minutes, now encodes is less then 10 minutes.

    ​ Did you try iFFmpeg 5.4 yet? Encoding to ProRes is way faster now. In fact, a lot faster then any other converter I tried. Also make sure you have ffmpeg 2.6 - it has much improved h265 encoding regarding speed.
