  1. If you select the 1080p60 option, it looks very much like it was shot at 60fps, and I don't recall any mention of the A7Rii having a 4k60 mode. Either this is an outright fake, or whoever filmed it had no idea what they were doing and put the camera in 1080p60 mode.
  2. ​I don't think it was a fluke so much as their priorities changing somewhere down the line. Aside from the atrocious 500D (which you could write off as just a classic "second album misfire" situation), each of their DSLRs up to about the 5D Mark III either improved their video features or brought said features to a more reasonable price point. After that, they just seemed to give up.
  3. Is hiring a lens an option for you? The Sigma 18-35mm f/1.8 might be a good fit for this scenario, as it offers a 27mm-equivalent wide end, and should zoom in enough to handle any close-ups.
