  1. Zak, looks amazing. What is your battery solution?
  2. Vomit inducing warp stabilizer in whole clip. uuugghhhh
  3. Just look at this difference Foliage is always a good spot to find the IR pollution.
  4. This is always much appreciated! Will give your music a listen when I come home! Thanks buddy!
  5. Yeah I think my setup could be as light as 2.5lbs. That works right? And what's the fastest setting look like?
  6. So should I get this or not? I sold my slider cause I barely used it and it took up space, but this is so small...
  7. So most shoulder kits I find are up to 1000 USD. The URSA mini one is 350, so putting that together with the BMPCC and SmallHD 501 and Sidefinder and a possible LANC handle would make sense right? Any thoughts? Oh I should say I'm upgrading to the Ursa Mini later next year possibly, so even if it's not the best of ideas, it maybe makes more sense that I will use it later for it's real purpose...
  8. In practice, what does it do for me? I've read online that I could stabilize using the data somehow but it sounds complicated and I have no clue. Having no IS on camera nor lens, how can this help? And what else is it there for?

I live 10min from there! You make it look so awesome!! Very Blade Runner! Good job!
  10. I don't know if this makes sense to upload a jpg of the prints. Also it's already dark here and I don't have good lighting in my apartment (I like it dark haha). But yeah, took a pic of 3 of them. They're all 17x11" printed on Premium Luster paper on a Epson 3880 I believe. EDIT; I'm gonna retake them tomorrow during the day for better images of the images, hehe.
  11. I don't know if anyone is still interested in this but I printed a collection of 12 images in 17x11" and the images look gorgeous. The sharpness and detail is so crisp and nice and when I had a small showing of the images to some photographers they said they were really impressed these images coming from 2Mpix files. All I did before printing (after initial color correcting) was to resize the images 200% in ACR. Again, if someone is interested I can take some pics and upload of some of the printed images.
  12. Anyone knows if it works with El Capitan now? As in works exceptionally well. I had some minor bugs that were really annoying. Updating now....
  13. I've been doing inkjet. But now ordering a book from Blurb. It's 8x8". Here's some tests, but these are all from Prores HQ. EDIT; Wow shitty autofocus from the iPhone, the measure tape is in inches.
  14. I'm making a photobook from DNG's from my BMPCC and was wondering if anyone know what the largest format I could print the images as. My book is going to be 8x8" so I don't feel like it would be a problem with quality loss but just want to see if anyone here new what the largest possible print could be (beyond my book). Thanks guys!
  15. My renters insurance cover belongings outside as well.
  16. UGH! I live for Kodak's Vision 3 series! That and the Eastman Color Negative 100T 5254/7254. I don't need anything else! I know it's OT, but does anyone know if there's someone who made a LUT for the EC films?
  17. This is the aspect ratio I've decided to do for my next short. Wide is great! Oh and it's mobile platform only release!
  18. Us swede's know how to stay simple, Scandinavian minimalism? Hehe, joke aside, I did some tests of the G7, GX8 and then decided to stick with my LX100. Which I pair with the BMPCC (men fan, önskar jag hade råd med alla kameror du äger!)
  19. Wow, this really confused me. So depending on how I put my ND filter on, it will have different polarizing effects? I'm so confused... My tiffen just screws on as it is... Gah, little help here guys, please....
  20. I do have the Hoya one as well. It works without the filter amazingly but the second I use the ND it comes back. It's always different though depending on how much ND I use, so some images are great, while others are completely ruined.
  21. So earlier this summer I got an IR/UV cut for my BMPCC and I've been loving it, but after some shoots the past months I keep seeing this extremely annoying red tint to all my footage which is almost impossible to get rid off unless I desaturate the red/magenta channels. I hate it! BUT, it's only visible in the shots where I've had my tiffen variable ND on. Is that really the cause? I've stacked the ND on top of the cut filter, if that makes any difference, not so techy. I also saw that there's variable ND's WITH ir cut. Do I need to get a new ND? I did find the thread earlier discussing this but there wasn't really any talk about still getting such extreme pollution. Again, should I just invest in a Genus eclipse or SLR Magic? I'm sooooo tired of this haha Edit: So this is the Tiffen I own, and here's the two others. Genustech is CHEAPER, so I could prob hand off my Tiffen for 100 bucks and get it plus make some cash. You guys with personal experience of these, please let me know.
  22. Thank you! I did an assembly cut of half of the shots and it was already 12min, I'm just very slow in my story telling I think, the script was five pages! It's so hard to work on something personal all alone from pre to post, but you guys are really making me wanna finish this now, so thanks!
  23. Thanks man! I shot it on the BMPCC, but having used it another year and finally got around to buying an IR/UV cut, I'm a little sad to see how much I could have saved the image if only I'd buy it earlier. I need to look into a method of reducing ir pollution. The whole thing was shoot natural/practical lights and only using the Sigma 18-35mm. Here's some behind the scenes stuff with a grade I made earlier this year. Might try to match it up when I continue the project!
