IMO, they have the same sharpness for all these size lens. The difference is the view angle. ISCO can use 100mm without vignetting at infinity on FF camera. 16-D needs 135mm.

I don't think so. Definitely a 2x lens for me to use. Here are 3:1 pictures from 3:2 sensor camera.

IMO, this lens is sharp enough and true 2x at infinity. But it is the least flare lens.

KOWA 16D is different lens from SANKOR(SINGER?) 16D, smaller.

Looks flare is stronger than moondog lens.

To be safe, I think you can take out front lens then cut lips with saw, not so difficult. I disassembled other new type lens, but I think it is similar.

FF is about 75mm. Other format, just counted as 35mm equivalent FL, max down to 70mm of equivalence.

I have -0.25, -0.5, -0.75, -1, -1.25...etc. from optical.

For closer shooting, add +0.25~1 diopter at front. SLR's 0.33 &1.33 Diopter set is for the job.

16h/8z/b&h/Elmoscope II are the only 2x lens with its diameter size bigger to its length, except LOMO 35mm. So compared with 16S, shorter in length, bigger diameter, which means wider angle, or less vignettes when uses with the same prime lens.

I think Schneider Cinelux WA 35 is a big lens, even if I never own it. Not suitable to use with focus unit.

SLR magic 2x is about twice price as 16H or more. So if not better a little bit, who would buy it?

Actually, ISCO integrated lens is smaller then Cinelux. There are more other ISCO made big lenses. To say flares, they all have different version of coating. And Cinelux new and old version are different too. But basically they are all belong to quite week as flares.

Dual focus is pain. I think you can try using auto focus taking lens to test anamorphic lens as semi auto focus system to see whether it has problem.
