Is the fungus etched in the glass between any paired doublets (triplets) in an element group.. There's no real way to get there safely and break the elements apart??!!! You saying its behind the first element?

Do you think the fungus can be cleaned when it gets opened up.. I got the impression the fungus is inside the unit? looks great by the way..
