If camera set to record "XAVC S 4K", and "HDMI Resolution" set to 1080p it outputs very good quality scaled HD. Much better than 1080p internal recording. So it seems we can get good quality 1080p HDMI out to external recorder, but only in 4K internal mode. And it also means there is a good 1080p in there, but the one ends up on the card is bad. This is what i see on my monitor. Can you guys confirm this?

No, I have just updated my A6000, and it's still the same...

My A6000 is doing similar (altough not this bad) creeping-edges on handheld shots in XAVC-S, but i haven't narrowed down to picture profiles or ISO ranges.
