FZ1000 can always drop to 1080 for wider angle if needed, lack of audio / flipscreen I would say LX100 is more of the fun camera, FZ1000 a better contender as an A camera
 
(if possible both used together are a great reasonably priced package!)

Hmm.. not sure I agree with that after reading the reviews
 
My conclusion was-
 
FZ1000 Pros: Mic in, Flipscreen, Longer lens, Picture profiles, 5 axis stabilisation in 1080, more buttons/controls
LX100 Pros: Wider / faster lens, looks cooler

To be fair theres nothing un-cinematic about sharpness, sharpness is often mistakenly accused of giving a video look but the best vintage lenses are as sharp as any modern ones. 
 

true indeed yes, shooting 4k for 1080 you could switch to internal 1080 in a push though when you need the extra wide angle.. 

a7s is APSC or Fullframe, you can choose in camera, its I think one of the most exciting features, hopefully quality will be equal in both modes at least in 1080p

i suspect the combination of lens/bokeh, colour grade and nice back lighting is whats most apealing to your visual sense rather than the camera itself..

It will work fine! 1 frame of 96fps will still equal 1 frame in your 25fps project giving you a speed thats 3.86x slower than the original.. (if thats what youre trying to do) The clip just needs to be conformed to your sequence framerate..

except if youre serious about photography youll want to have control over all the different elements including having motion blur or not for effect, as mentioned by many, certainly possible but not ideal

I think this is now recognisable to most people as the HDSLR look :)
 

guys, he said he wants to shoot industrial videos.. the 70d is definitely a capable all rounder camera if youre not looking to shoot a cinematic masterpiece, it has the best Autofocus capability which he said hes looking for, 3x digital zoom is also a much underrated function for run n gun
