  1. Hi Jonpais...sorry to bug you in a PM but I need a bit of advice....I will build my GH5 into a heavy rig and am considering a "walk around " companion camera for the GH5...would you recommend the GX85 (I think it is) or the G85...interested in the stabilizer in both...don't need it pocket sized, but need a cheaper travel cam that can potentially match the GH5...I know you own one of these 2 cams....perhaps you own both?...anyway would value your opinion on this!

    All the best

    Fritz

Hi Fritz, I've got the G85, I love it, really have no need for the GH5, but I've preordered one anyway. I think it would make a perfect companion to the GH5, and color-wise, I'm sure they'll work together perfectly. It's by far my favorite Panasonic camera yet. BTW, I've been using AWB for some shots recently and much to my surprise, I've found it to be pretty good as well.

Thanks much Jonpais...I figure its worth the extra money over the GX85...that body seems a bit small for my taste...advice much appreciated!

  2. Hi Oliver...just a couple of questions for when you have the time...are you going to attempt to rig this so it's your primary camera...I had thoughts like that originally, but I think I'm leaning towards the Kinemax now as my "Land Camera"...anyway, as I've been flying the Inspire for over a year now, don't hesitate to message me if you are curious about any flight observations (did crash my 1st one due to a software error I believe, but I think DJI saw it partially as pilot error...charged me $220 for a boom replacement, and then shipped me a new Inspire??)...Cheers, Fritz

  3. Hi Rich

I'm contemplating the KineMax for a feature I'm in the process of getting funded. I was considering getting their KineMount with the Nikon KineEnhancer...I own 3 Nikon AF-S F2.8 ED zooms...the 17-35, 28-70 and 80-200...all with aperture rings. I also own the Sigma F1.8 18-35 and 2 Tokinas...all in Nikon mount.  I know you built a custom speed booster for Rob, and my questions are (1) Was it a Nikon mount (2) Any thoughts on the optical quality of their Enhancer and (3) If not a Nikon mount for Rob, would you be interested in manufacturing a Nikon Booster for my KineMount. As a lot of the cheap boosters  degrade the image, and in my view the image on the KineMax is what I'm looking for at an incredible price, I want to make sure there are no weak links in the chain, or else I will opt for the non optic adapter.

    thanks in advance,

    Fritz
