It seems like the possibilities are rather endless. If demand for high speed CF card drives those cards to perform significantly faster we could be working with high resolution raw video to compete with the big cameras and with features like crop mode, it resides a league of its own. Very exciting times for 5D3/2 owners.

Here is a demo showing how the pre-release ML firmware crop mode can increase the focal range of any lens without any loss in resolution or light when shooting full 1080 raw. I am still in shock. http://youtu.be/dQ51rE_ZUgo
