What's the taking lens in those pics?
Back on topic - So no complaints with the Lanparte FF?
The taking lens is a Zeiss ZF 100mm/f2 and no, I have no complaints at all with the Lanparte FF.

I was just wondering if there is any news about the new redstan close up achromatic diopter.
Is there a price yet?
I'm very curious.

They don't officially support the DP6 anymore (it has been replaced by the AC7), so I'd be surprised if there was additional firmware on the way. But good luck!
Yes, they do.

Subject: DP6 Anamorphic setting
Hello Andreas,
We are just about to release a new firmware for the DP6 that includes an Anamorphic Desqueeze setting - but it's currently in beta testing.
Thanks,
Kristen

On my DP6 the custom anamorphic scaling works just fine for monitoring. But what about the distorted image while recording on my 5D MKII? The DP6 works fine in factory recording preset but not in custom anamorphic settings.
Is there any workaround? There is a firmware update coming.

Clinton Harn of Newsshooter.com wrote an article about a new anamorphic adapter by Letus35:

Sounds interesting and affordable.
What do you think?

How about the Canon 77mm Close-up Lens 500D? Apparently an achromat and the price seems reasonable!

Thanks for this useful information! I'm gonna adjust my workflow accordingly.

All scopes of a telescopic design are guaranteed to perform at the stated magnification at the infinity focus setting only.
For example a 2x scope will range from 2x at infinity focus to 1.5x at 0.5m
Thank you. This clears things up!

I did a bunch of photos with the Kowa Prominar Anamorphic 16-H on my 5D MKII and they look absolutely wonderful.
But I noticed after a factor x 2 stretching in Photoshop (11232x3744) that circular objects are not perfectly round, but somewhat distorted. The stretch is less than 2 times, rather 1.84.
So what is the exact stretch factor for that lens? How do I calculate it?
Thanks for your interest and regards.

Well, it was me.
He sold it for a price I just could not resist…
The dutch Iscorama 54 arrived today in mint condition. Focus is smooth as can be. I'm overwhelmed.

Hello,
how about this one?
Isco 1.9x Anamorphic Projection Lens.
It is apparently not suitable for attaching to a camera. It is not supplied with a mount.
Would that be a problem?

That Dutch ISCO54 is gone, I wonder if someone from the forum managed to snag it?
Julian? Eric?

I got my Tokina just a few days ago for $120. http://www.ebay.de/itm/171032206398?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649#ht_500wt_1413
Guess I was lucky!

I use 86mm filters (Series 9 actually), and a 95-86mm step down. It's perfectly fine at 50mm on full frame. :)
Besides that, I have a +0.25 Pentax, 95mm thread, about to go up for sale, if you're interested.
Sounds nice. What's the price? PM me.
