  1. I shot a wedding with the 35 - 100mm and was gutted to find micro vibrations coming through from what is a (for M43 system) a very expensive lens. This was on a GH3, so it's not just a GH4 thing.. but it might be a Panasonic thing. Has anyone tried the offending lenses on a Olympus or Black Magic body to see if the footage from those cameras also has the jitter?
  2. Hi Andy, Is this the lens you are recommending: http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-panasonic-micro-4-3rds-14-45mm-lens/p1032517 ? or is it this one? http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-panasonic-14-42mm-f3-5-5-6-asph-o-i-s-micro-four-thirds-lens/p1527264 - the 2nd one seems to not have any manual control so not ideal for filmmaking? Also I just dropped my 14-140mm f4-5.8 on a shoot recently rendering it pretty useless, I wondered if anyone had any input on using it's successor the 14-140 f3.5-5.6 for professional shooting? http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-panasonic-14-140mm-f3-5-5-6-g-vario-asph-power-ois-micro-four-thirds-lens/p1538073 Thanks! tom

    Kowa 16-S

I too would love to see a breakdown of the differences between the Kowa Prominar lenses - I've just got a 16-A but most things refer to the 16-D or 16-H, and I wonder if there is any difference between them and the version I have. It seems to flare pretty much the same and it's a 2x but apart from that maybe they are fairly similar?
  4. Hi Andrew, Thanks for the review - I've had my GH3 for a couple of months now, love it and have been eagerly awaiting your take on it. The one thing I'm struggling with is the effect of i.Dynamic and i.Resolution when recording video - I can't find much information about the pros or cons of such modes when filming. I've done some tests but the only thing I noticed is the max. i.Dynamic setting made everything flat and muddy but that's not exactly scientific. My GH3 display also seems to bump up the saturation whenever I press record - anyone else experience this and have any clues what might cause it? Makes it a bit tricky when lighting sometimes (esp with coloured gels!). Cheers! Tom
