  1. Btw, I use 5d3 too, love the image you've got. Could you share some info on Leica you use as a taking lens?
  2. Aha. Work on alignment. Spot the light right into the lens and rotate the lens until the flare is precisely horizontal.
  3. 5d3 is totally worth it. Thank all'aya, gonna try ML on my m3 tomorrow.
  4. Seen one on eBay, own 64/2x rectimascope. Pretty large thing. Thinking of selling it.
  5. I agree. It takes some time to get used to focusing both lens correctly. I use following technique: for close-ups I just focus both lenses all the way down and fine tune via taking lens focus. For focusing on far objects everything is vice versa, except for fine tuning is done again with taking lens. For inbetween distances I try to focus both lenses on approximately same distances basing on focusing marks on 'em.   Wish you luck and lots of patience while practicing.
  6. but I can't get those anamorphic "monsta-flare", haven't found a solution yet.
  7. Thank you! This was shot in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia.   I used canon 5d mark III and shot through 135mm lens wide open, f\2.8 to be exact. I tried to ude it with canon 50mm 1.2 and due to VERY small back diameter of kowa, I experienced quite serious vignetting. So, my conclusion is: 100mm and larger focal lenth lens for full frame use only.
  8. Bought kowa 16-s on ebay and faced the situation, that there is not so much info on this lens over internet. So, my first tests. Shot in technicolor cinestyle.   http://vimeo.com/58606594
