Sony USA 29 minutes for the RX10 II in 4K.

After using the GH4 and NX1 I have no desire for a DSLR with OVF for shooting 4K video.

I boot Yosemite off an internal 1TB SSD in a Sonnet Tempo 6Gb/s SATA PCI Express 2.5" Solid State Drive Card

in my old 2008 Mac Pro. I also have the new 6 core Mac Pro with LaCie 1TB Little Big Disk Thunderbolt-2 Solid State Drive .

Is that with the old 3840x2160 UHD sensor from the BMC 4K Production camera ? You would think it had DCI cinema 4K (4096x2160) like  other 4K cinema cameras and the 4K GH4.

Will the 4K A7s cost $2K or $4K ? The 4K AX100 cost $2K.

I would be satisfied with XAVC-S 4K at 60fps and 150Mbps bit-rate like the AX1. The new Sandisk UHS-II cards would handle that without a problem.

Or maybe I am.thinking of the AX1, but XAVX-S I believe can do higher than 60Mbps.

The Sony FDR-AX1 does 4K @ 60fps using XAVC-S at 150Mbps and the AX100 4K at 30fps at 60Mbps.

I bet it will have the same 4K specs as the Sony 4K AX100 with 60MB/s XAVC S 4K @ 24 and 30 fps on SD cards with exFAT file system.

Low light performance with a 12mp full frame sensor should be off the charts  IMHO !

Can we stop comparing everything to the GH4 please?

Compare it to the full frame Canon EOS 1D C that has a 1.3x crop in 4K.

i'm not aware of media technology.  is this type of card faster than a sanny extreme pro 95mb/s?

The Sandisk Extreme Pro 95MB/s card is a class 10 card meaning minimum 10MB/s compared to 30MB/s minimum for the speed class 3 cards.

I pre-ordered from B&H. BTW the GH4 supports UHS-1 Class 3 SD cards and the best deal I have seen is for the Kingston Digital Kingston Digital 64GB SDHC UHS-I Speed Class 3 Flash Card (SDA3/64GB ) at Amazon for $109.70.

The lens itself doesn't physically change. The lens plus Speed Booster has different properties. The same with a teleconverter -- putting a 2x extender on a 10-100 mm f/2.4 renders it effectively a 20-100 mm f/4.8.

That should be effectively a 20-200mm f4.8 .
