  1. Guys with davinci you will most probably do 10 times better in 5 minutes then what i need half a day :D   About the colour style i like to keep consistency between shoots so i usually go with less different styles as possible trying to just vary till a get a colour pattern i like, of course only pushing colours isnth enough, in this example ive blown up lights, but on a real project i would have being much more carefull on keeping details without destroying the image, lets consider this is a 7d mov file too, with raw material i would have made a much better job in the same time.
  2. well nuke its fully modular ( all node base like shake) and the phyton language give you the chance to write what ever you want to fit your needs, scratch its rock solid and as you said similar to davinci or quantel that are the non plus ultra for colour grading, but im far from those :)
  3. Hi Jg, well the print of the screen will be really a mess as, most of the node ive used are gizmo i made myself as combination of different nodes, in reality nuke is not meant for colour grading, usually i would go with after aftter or scratch (even better) but i was on nuke for another project already :D   but i will try to post a sort of basic tut as soon as i can if anybody its really interested in that.  the process in nuke its basically a typical one.   1) degrain the footage 2) selective sharpening 3) exposure and gamma 4) re grain 5) color correction/matte mask/various colour overlay etc.   that should be all more or less. hope it helps
  4. thanks for the tip suopkitchen and for the compliments of course..
  5. Thank you Jg   to be honest here i  just went with the "more then cheap lets say zero kit" :D with the exception of course of the hypergonar with a 7d, no rig or anything particular, just a bit of grading in nuke.
  6. Hey,   trying to get familiar with the lenses, i just finished buying stuff that now ive understood that i need absolutelly a rig or a steadycam rig, by the way what you think would be better?   ive done a quick test that i want to show you guys.   https://vimeo.com/60781305
  7. hey thanks for the help   yes i am using an hypergonar hi fi 2, actually seems that the focus works, but only sligthly comparing it to the prime lense, ive tried going to infiinite and actually works, i need to take familiarity i guess, to answer to Sébastien, well of course you have to focus with both the prime lense and the anamorphic lense :D
  8. Hello nice people   i am trying to do some experiments with my hypergonar, but i have some confusion regarding the focus, as i am aware i can focus with both my prime lense and the hypergonar, but for some reasons seems like the anamorphic lense doesnt change anything, except the fact that seems like the bokeh rotate, is that supposed to work like this? or there is some trickery i need to consider?   with diopter i can almost zoom 30 cm from my subject, only focusing with the prime lense, but even there the hypergonare seems to not focus anything...
  9. ah ok, thanks for the tip, i have glued my 82mm adapter, now lets hope it stays in place, :D
  10. Hi there   strangelly enough i have bought xume adapters (82mm) for adding my diopeters, but for some reasons (even knowing that the front of the hypergonar is 82mm) there is no way to simple screw it on top, if not gluing it on the lense, is anybody experiencing the same thing? or i am simple doing it wrong?   Regards
  11. Hi Tony   Email sent! no reply still, check in your spam folder, thanks for the tips i was searching already for those stuff..
  12. hey Tony, are you from redstan? if the answer is yes, that auction was for exactly the clamp i need how can i contact you and organize the shipping? as ive sent at least 4 emails even on ebay without any reply!   About diopters i got the borwin (stated as hoya) for the 82mm xume adapters i got, hopefully im almost good to go, i still need a good support for the lense and a fucking clamp to attach the hypoergonar to the the prime..
  13. thats super cool :)   thanks, will get this kit and buy the diopters for 82mm, if i can find any of this size.
  14. this is what your talking about? http://www.xumeadapters.com/order-here/82mm-adapters/xume-pro-kit.html   i guess those are just the threads without diopters, but i think i can mount them over them
  15. mhh...but front diameter for the hypergonar is 82mm right? in this case would'nt be better to use a 82mm diopter? or the frontal diameter is smaller? back should be 72mm
  16. Thank you again, priceless info, but i have a question, isnt enough to get for example that hoya set for 72mm then eventually use one of those redstains front clamp to put the diopters on the hypergonar?
  17. Ah interesting, i guess i will still need the diopters thought? at least for close up or i am wrong?
  18. Thanks Julian, he is the only one i found so far and guess what? i couldnt get one single info from him, ive contact that guy trough everything except my bloodstream, email, ebay everything....thats why i wasnt even sure it exist outside my mind.
  19. Hey   finally i got my hypergonar, my next quest start with the search of achromat, diopters and a clamp for attaching the anamorphic lense to my prime lenses, i can buy in america from vid atlantic the clamps, but i am in europe and between the cost for shipping and the time require i will be waiting too long.   Does anyone can suggest me where to get not so expensive diopters (+0.5 and +1), eventually an achromat (+0.4) and those clamps anywhere in europe? ive search on ebay already wihtout luck.   Thanks for the help   Hidalgo
  20. hi guys   i need an expert eye on that...   what do you think about this lense? i mean could you see problems? those photos are not telling me much.. thanks for any help
  21.   still i cant quite figuring why he sell a lens at that price, he sell it as "new" so maybe thats why...but still..   Actually i cant even see any clamps from him on ebay
  22. Hey guys, thanks for the help reallly apreciated, i saw that first link was a hi fi 1 and would be curious aswell to know the main differences between the two, for the third link the guy its selling his lens for 1250 euros!?!   holy shit! i guess its selling his sister with it for staying at that price lol.   Lets see if this time i get one for a fair price :D
  23. Holy Cow my ebay search engine should have problems as i have done the search 10 times only yesterday and nothing was showing up :-/ thank you JohnnyK for the insight.
