Well, for me, I have a good chunk of money saved and am eagerly awaiting the FS700. It's strange to think that the Sony FS100 came out 1 year ago, and in one year, Sony does an upgrade that is 3x better. Canon spends 4 long years and doesn't do crap.
BTW, how is your Metabones working?

Canon won't update in such a fashion as to compete against their camcorder line. I reckon companies act as a cartel to not do so. FS700 great slo mo. Good choice

Do you really think so? What about all the blogs and " young film makers who push this nonsense to each other and others fall for it.
What about the pro film maker that does a vid and tells us how how it all is and then gets given a $100,000 camcorder by his sponsor, unbeknowns to us, of course
What is the next " affordable " camera that will cost us over half as much again in aftermarket kit, so we mimic a camcorder?

Hi guys,
I hope this message find you well. I visit this site almost everyday.
I am looking to purchase the FS 700 with the Kit Lense here in Victoria, Australia. I know it come out on the 15th of July. I was wondering where can I buy it from? I don't want to purchase it from the US because I want to keep my warranty within Australia.
If there is anyones here from Australia that visit this site quiet often. Please advise me where I could get it from. It would be much appreciated. I have been saving for over 6 months and it about time I am going to be able to get my hand on this marvelous camera.
