For sure, Panasonic is ahead. And you don't change one system for another because of a camera announcement ; ) But each one have their quirks...

I guess it is safe to infer silver version will be made in Japan... Nice find cowboy ; -)

With the new XF 16-80mm f/4 R OIS WR what's your priority glass list? Here's my basics by ascending order other than that one: XC 35mm f/2 XF 23mm f/2 R WR XF 60mm f/2.4 R Macro Or replaced by the upcoming Viltrox 23mm, 33mm & 56mm f/1.4 for about 250 bucks each [specs and more info] : https://www.fujirumors.com/new-fujifilm-x-mount-viltrox-af-lenses-coming-before-march-31/ https://www.fujirumors.com/launch-of-new-fujifilm-x-mount-viltrox-lenses-possibly-delayed-due-to-coronavirus-outbreak/ And yet: XF 18mm f/2 R XF 55-200 f/3.5-4.8 R LM OIS (LM justifies for the motor twice the price of XC 50-230mm f/4.5-6.7 OIS II) Viltrox 85mm f/1.8 STM Of course, all this without mention the priceless XF 16mm f1.4 R WR (that would theoretically replace the 18mm) one of the most celebrated lenses ever produced or the wider 10-24mm f/4 R OIS for one grand each. Let alone the 50-140mm f/2.8 R LM OIS WR for that plus an extra half. Here's more on topic.

Now that we already have an estimated date for the new X-T4 (end of April), any update on the mount adapter from your side and your friend @heart0less ? : -)
-
That was the original and this one is the colorized 4K60p version:

Is this really important David? Seems to you, it is. I don't think it will be for everyone... To me this is what we take in the end; any of both will do the job even though 4:2:2 is theoretically an advantage to Panny, I like better the Fuji ergonomics as for instance -- let alone nice 240fps to make shallow DOF to shine besides superior CS (have any of you ever shot on B&W with a Fuji camera?) :

Thanks @MaxYuryev : -) From some other usual suspects: And more here:

The pack arrived but they didn't comply the delivery with required signature as hired and paid for. They simply left it into the mail box. Sender might be in trouble with eventual dishonest consignees going along such service pattern by the Courier.

Here's more available on these boards to read about such interesting topic indeed:

Not to me : ) @Andrew Reid @androidlad I think there's room for a grand and a half in EUR (without taxes) for IBIS, 4K60p @ 400Mbps 10-bit (even though 4:2:0 color sampling is actually a PITA*) to make the buck today, who knows when and where X-H2 will land? There's the rumor not along this year... *minute 26:33 from an old discussion on DVXUSER:

No worries, I think we have a great community here, the best online corner IMHO, with some good contributors such as you, one among of them : -)

Glenn, I think that can even bump exactly what you're saying... I just think this can help to also make it happen, isn't it? : ) I always feel this forum has much valuable information, it is a very rich resources variety of knowledge which invariably stays in the vault forgotten and hidden. At times, we don't necessarily need new or different but to preserve the already existent. Andrew can't stick everyone but this can serve as archive for the best of our choice. We're obviously free to keep going to spread and add more material to the different topics, of course. Last but not least, I really do appreciate index stuff, see them as very helpful tools. Information is key (E : -)

Very true. Authoritarian ticks is something we must fight, obviously. Indifference, no less. Without it, the mess we factually need to live with.
-
Many, must confess. Here are (only) a couple of suggestions: What about you?
-
@iamoui I understand your position, I don't like the State either to rule my world without mention all the usual stuff about individual freedom and the customary yadda yadda... Just a way to represent all of us. Is it in the U.S.? OK, I am American citizen for the subject matter then : ) Some other point turns out to be present as well: What society is this one where indifference on such, like human life, coexists at the same time as we all just attend this whole damned circus on TV?? Are you happy with the show? (On TV, Internet, etc) I am not.
-
Let alone this: All this could be trivial if a life wouldn't be lost... In a very useless purpose indeed. Actually the main reason why I am here. I can't be indifferent, I am not, I won't, I will never be. If this is to be politically motivated, so be it. @Grimor Not La Coruña (a bit strange... it would be too far away from Barcelos anyway), but nearby A Cañiza, somewhere between Pontevedra and (closer to) Ourense, the same Galicia obviously : -)
-
You're repeating yourself ad nauseam and only giving a self-pity-portrait of your own, I'm sorry to see. I've added my reply to such question not coincidentally in the first post of this page without mention my other answers to follow. PS: If I extended one single paragraph or a couple of it somehow edited then in the next hour forum software settings conceded to us by Andrew and you didn't read for any reason, I invite you to scroll up this same page and read, very simple task : -)
-
I didn't say that! If you'll read carefully my post or stop to do such little game you're showing off, you'd fairly realize I have no fault you think pictures is all about the gear you're using. It's written there in my posting. Go and read again. Waste of time is to read your ad hominem posts here. It is what it is.
-
WTH I've already answered you above-posted: I even quoted myself my 1st post where it is very clear what I think about many silly people we can find everywhere! There's no a single reason for something. The world is not B&W if that's what you insist to see. If you want to believe I have a political motivation against U.S. I won't call you stupid only to not insult you. But if you think you can read my thoughts, what else can I write to you? : -)
-
Galicia, La Coruña. Saludos de Carnaval para ti : ) 'Living out his dream' is almost as criminal and silly as his attempts. This doesn't mean the story of this is contained in a single link posted anywhere. Want know more about anything, google is your friend : ) BTW there's no flat-earth theory. Such theory doesn't exist today in this century. Didn't you read that part of my posting as well? ; -)
-
What do you know about what I know or don't know? C'mon... No rocket science here, literally... LOL ; ) it's just to read the news. Politically motivated? It's completely nonsense what you're just writing. No, there's no political motivation at all from my part. I only find all this story an absolute misfortune. Painful to see. That's all. First off if you haven't noticed yet, I am one of the oldest members here. This is one of my fav places I choose to discuss daily life with other fellows in this Andrew's home. People trade messages on private, there are connections beyond the curtains and so on, you know? This is merely our public window. On the other hand, the guy wanted to photograph the earth to prove his idea. This has everything about the main scope of this forum, no more no less. As fair conclusion though, pictures are not only made of gear and talking around for geeks. The way news, marketing, media exposure, innovation are made and are mirror of our time, even the society itself or what it is political motivation realm, once you mention it, make them... Our contemporary counterpart. It is impossible to dissociate the pictures or how we living them from there. Count on it ; -)
