I’m considering getting a GH2 for video (I’m a newbie to HD but it seems IQ-wise, the Panasonic is the best of the low budget bunch). Now the thing holding me back is image stabilization (IS). If I were to get a canon 600d for example, I could use the 28-105 L lens which is fixed aperture capable AND has IS. Now, I can use this lens with a GH2 but from what I understand I’ll lose the IS capability
GH2 with the hack seems to be head & shoulders better than the Canon for IQ but lens options aren’t as good. Any suggestions? Can only think of getting a steady cam, but they’re a bit of a pain if you were to zoom while filming
Thanks!
