1. I would be 100% behind this if the personal view guys were involved. Otherwise? Hard to say. Getting timely service will likely be a dealbreaker for most.
2. I'm looking for the answer too...I'm using orion v4, and choosing 24h under the 24p cinema mode...my files are 40mb for ten second files, and I was expecting 200-300mb for the files.
3. Hi. I have seen many patches, and they look nice. I am looking especially at some quantum footage that captured amazing shadow detail. It was not the 176 mb, but it was amazing. Has anyone ever done a thorough hack footage comparison? Can anyone point out things I may need to know? I plan to shoot in 24p 1080, and I have a hotshoe mounted hx9v that I am running concurrently at 1080p 60p in case I need some slow motion footage to cut in with it. Thanks for the help!
4. Hi. Great site! I have the small Pentax k 18mm, but I'd like to try some of the CCTV lenses, before I jump on a fujinon 7.5-105 zoom. Any hints?
5. Yes, I will be having to make do with my legacy lenses until I save up for that!
6. because of this site, I have sold my nex5n, and moved on to the GH2. It is simply the best cinematic value. thanks for the assistance!
7. Thanks! I try to make each auction something fun to look at. Plus my daughters a natural!
8. Snap it up! It wont last. http://www.ebay.com/itm/200714200443?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
9. Have singer 16d, nex5n and hx9v...should i swap to gh2 if i want to do nice anamorphic shots like andrew's gh1/optex germany video? thanks!
10. I am amazed that sony wont do one thing: allow the hx9v to have manual lockable exposure, white balance, and focus. That would be a powerhouse. The lens could use an update to something a little more low light friendly, and with a constant zoom, but how hard can that be? It wouldnt replace anything, just be an incredible b cam for millions of people who already own other more pro cameras.
11. I am thinking of getting rid of my nex5n, for a gh2. However in the meantime, i already have an hx9v, and i might like to try the la7200 with it first. It may be all that I need for my purposes. I'd like to capture giant landscapes. The nex5n is nice, but it does not seem as capable as the gh2 since it has the ext cropping ability. But nevermind all that. How about an update on that post, since it was the reason i bought an hx9v in the first place! I think the la7200 is harder to find than a gh2, so it might be a good idea for me to grab that now. I have a singer 16d lens, but i have never tried to use it with my nex, i used it a couple of times on my 7d before I sold it, and was not thrilled. Thanks! Jarrett
