Yup - I had read that discussion before posting this question. Actually, I'd like to know if the adapter itself is used to focus (is there any mechanism mounted inside it ?) or if it's "just" a "passive" metal tube. If the latter, it means that the lens' focus mechanism is used instead... which is the tricky part, as far as I understand.

Hi there, I love vintage filmic look (like many of us, I guess) and even though I am quite happy with the feel I'm getting from my Olympus OM lenses, I am wondering if I could get more of that cinema feel with the Lomos ? Now, I need this Lomos+ceico7 adapter (the expensive one) to be a real-life working solution and not be upset each time I need to focus, even in a hand-held GH2 shooting situation (as I've heard some complaints about focusins with such a combo). Does anybody know how this adapter really works in real life ? Thanks for your help !

Before buying a GH2 a few months ago, I had been waiting for the OM-D to showcase its video functionalities and I found them below the GH2's, unfortunately. But, the look and the still image quality of the OM-D are still very appealing, and I would make it my camera of choice if it would get a proper hack, that's for sure! Vitaly, if you could extend your wonders ...

Same here ... I was waiting for this one prior to investing in a GH2. I went GH2, even though I would have preferred a fully video-featured classic-looking camera !

The title says it all : I would like to get good cards that will manage the hack's (min.) 44 mb/s data flow. Any recommendation ? Thanks !

Thanks Andrew. I am not yet thinking of going anamorphic, tbh. Just wondering if the focusing adapter is needed for normal/non-anamorphic use ?

Hi there, Inspired by this blog and its beautiful organic vibey Lomo shots, I am considering buying Lomo lenses + the adapters. There are 2 models : one that allows focusing from the adapter and another one that is "just" a metal barrel. My question is : is it necessary to get the expensive one that allows focusing from the adapter ? How does focusing feel on a Lomo lens ? Thanks !
