there is one thing to remember - that the BMCC is not that great for TV work. I know that sounds boring but the C300 IS good for TV work. doesnt justify the price tho ;)

i think it was a late reaction to the word on the street (internet) that the people want to use mft lenses so there is less of a crop factor problem. dont know why they didnt think of that.

We have also been extremely happy with the response to the first shipments and have already seen some wonderful work done on them. apparently the BM Cinema camera doesnt shoot interlaced? that wont help. although final spec is not out yet...  ???

This C300 is WAY overpriced. But then again, everything is which is considered 'professional'.
