  1. Thanks for the reply. Would you mind linking to a good one of what you mean? I'm new to this so dont know all the different attachments. I've tried looking but there is just so many and so many mixed reviews. I do like the arm that came with it just wish I could get it to work because it is nice how easy it is to rotate the monitor.
  2. I just got a SmallHD focus for my A7iii and might be over my head but I am trying to just use it for photography to better check focus and composition. The included arm is awesome but I want to also be able to use the monitor on camera when I have either the flash trigger on or an on camera flash. I currently have the smallrig l backet attachment which I like to keep on for using with a tripod. I am uploading some pictures so you can see. I think if I could get the monitor a little more forward (towards me) then it could work. Just not sure what attachments or out there that could be best. I'd like to still keep the articulating function as well if possible.
  3. Hello everyone, I want a field monitor for my a7iii but only for photography to have a bigger screen for composition and focus. I know most people use these for video so I can not find much info on the subject. I just received the feelworld ma6 monitor because I thought its relatively inexpensive and could do the trick. This thing seems awesome and is very light and pretty much what I'm looking for except there are a few issues with the a7iii. When I first connected to the monitor it shows all the functions, auto focus, menu etc on the monitor but blacks put the camera screen. I found out if you change hdmi settings, ctrl for hdmi to off it will show the image on both the camera and the monitor but the focus point and all that is only on the camera monitor. I just want it to mirror the camera screen. I dont know if I can make due with only having the monitor on because you cant tap to change focus points or anything and the EVF doesnt work either incase I want to use that. The other way it's kind of useless because I still have to look at the camera screen. Does anyone know how to fix this or if it's even possible? I guess I am willing to spend more money if it's just a limitation of this monitor because having experienced the bigger monitor is awesome. Lastly, when I put the camera into movie mode the image on the monitor takes up the whole screen when in manual mode it has black bars on both sides. I think the resolution is less and I am willing to live with this if I can get it working properly. Thanks!!
