Dear jonpais, thank you for the link. But this is not the problem we had. This seems to be about an issue with monitoring a signal. What happend to us is, that the unit turend off completly. This is the SSD we used. The information in my first post wasn't correct about that.

Hello everybody, we latley had an issue with our Shougun Inferno. We were filming several short interviews (between 15 and 25 minutes) in our Studio. We used a Sony alpha 7 s camera. Because it's not possible to record internal 4K with this model, but to play it out via HDMI, we decided to use the Inferno as recorder. - We gave out a 4K/25p via HDMI - Record Format on the Inferno were: Codec DNxHD 145 - We used an official Atomos-HDD as media -We used a power adapter, no battery packs (Modell VHBW AC-Adapter/ WP-AC07620V / Output 7.6V = 2A ) - The Inferno was not build in some kind of Cage or Rig. The vents were totaly free - We have an air conditon. So it wasn't hot in the studio After recording the first 10-15 minutes the Inferno turned off completly. The screen turend black and we had to start it up again. This happend during the recording. So the Inferno gave us the Option to recover the affected clip. This worked fine. When we contiued our Interview the same thing happend again: black screen, shut down. In my opinon the monitor became to warm. The backsite feld realy hot. So my guess is, that it shut itself down, to protecet itself from overheating. But as I said, this is only a supposition. It turned off without any waring. Do you know about this problem and what might cause it? Thank you very much for your help in advance.
