I'm not sure if I have settings wrong in the Sony A7Sii that I am using, but when I use the dual record feature, the low-res MP4 video files are out of sync with the 4k XAVC files by up to 10 frames, making the use of those MP4 files as proxies counter-productive to efficiency. Is there any way to ensure the synchronization of the MP4 files with the XAVC files? I understand this feature is useful for having "dailies" but if it could save me the time of creating proxies out of my XAVC footage at the beginning of the post process, that would be infinitely more useful to me.

Do the proxies that you are getting from the dual record feature sync with the 4K footage? I would love to edit with those rather than spending time in post making proxies from my 4K footage, but the files coming out of the A7S I'm using are about ten frames out of sync with each other- making the process of editing with the proxies, then replacing the files not doable. Do I have some hidden settings wrong? Am I ingesting the footage from the card incorrectly? Any idea?
