  1. Haha That was shortlived. Sounds like you woke up in the morning, turned over and saw the terrible mistake you made last night in a drunken stupor.
  2. a review mostly on its video. Colors look amazing. Focus is fast but jumpy. Needs full articulating touch screen. Needs ibis.
  3. Is the olympus clutch manual focus usable with follow focus?
  4. I was looking into this and found someone on reddit who says that there is a difference in autofocus speed between using native panasonic lenses vs olympus: "There is a difference in autofocus speed. Panasonic started to implement DFD(depth from defocus) technology and it is using Panasonic lens bokeh data to reduce hunting and increase af speed." - articrobot Someone else mentions in that thread: "Recently bought Olympus 40-150mm f4-5.6 (99€!) for my G7, in low light situations it hustles a bit more to get focus (AF) right, sometimes won't reach it at all." - carlakene https://www.reddit.com/r/PanasonicG7/comments/40ifgx/panasonic_g7_with_olympus_lenses/ Is this right? Olympus lenses are now slower on new Panasonic bodies?

  6. gh5 confirmed to have 5 axis stabilization. Rumor rated 5.
  7. That rumors site is saying it will be announced in the next few days and a9 in early 2017. They seem pretty confident. Crazy I was just considering buying the new a6300 a few months back.
  8. Haha Why can't they just give us what we want
  9. Sony Alpha Rumors and another 'Japanese site' Nokishita it will include IBIS. It'd be nice if no more overheating and articulated touchscreen.
  10. Aren't all their consumer line like this? I hope it ends up being 8bit 422

  12. From the reviews and some of the footage, this is turning out to be a nice camera under $1000.
  13. Panasonic G85/G80 and FZ2500 Review. G85 video review is short, but they shot the FZ2500 part with it.
  14. Entire episode shot on 5d iv 4k all autofocus.
  15. I'm not saying any of these are great content but it's definitely not a person sitting in one spot talking into a camera. Now a lot of them start off with a person speaking into the camera but that's to setup what they will do that day.
  16. People in this thread have no idea how people vlog these days.
  17. Watching him shoot video if it only had ibis and a articulating touch screen instead of a joy stick you gotta fidget with causing even more jitters.
  18. Couldn't find any info in the video description. Looks great for such a low priced camera. What lenses and settings did you use?
  19. If you're going to be on camera a lot then the screen flipping down is weird to put it on a gorilla stick or tripod. What was Canon thinking with that design? Why can't they just have it go up or sideways like everyone else? Also, no 4k, and I see some vloggers, especially the ones focusing on tech and video/photography uploading to 4k now on youtube and vimeo and they're stuff looks fantastic on my monitor. The autofocusing seems nice, but maybe the g85 will have improved theirs from the g7? edit: also stabilization seems software based not mechanical.
  20. shot only using touchscreen autofocus
