Does anyone have any knowledge of this lens?  It is a Super 80 Magnum. I remember seeing something on an English website many years ago.  I got it off E-Bay about 7 years ago and set it aside due to dust inside the lens--maybe fungus too.  After reading about folks on this site opening up their lenses, I decided to give it a try.  Nothing to lose--it was unusable.  So today I took off the retaining rings, cleaned the elements, and the inside of the housing. Once it's back together, I'll try it out.  I think it is 1.5X and it is pretty heavy.  The front diameter is 3 1/4 inches.  But I'm still puzzled that I can't find any info on it.

[member='Phil']  I'm a member of the Homebuilt Stabilizers website which, unfortunately, is not very active anymore.  While a wide angle lens may help, the essential ingredient in a mechanical stabilizer is being able to balance the camera fore and aft and side to side.  It also is best to have a monitor and battery on the "sled" that can be moved.  Also, a gimbal that can move up and down the sled will help set a drop time. Hand-held stabilizers are a bit different, but the basic principle applies.

I am the seller of the first Iscorama 36 Mr. Coleman mentions in his post.  I have been on E Bay for many years and have a 100% rating for buying and selling.  I believe I replied to him that the second offer was a screw-up on my part when I was in my account--and it was.  I have seen scams on E Bay and I would never participate in one.  The lens I sold was exactly as described with excellent glass.  I put a reserve of $2000 which I thought was fair considering the age and condition of the lens.  The final price was not at all what I expected.  I have also sold 2 Sankor anamorphics that went for considerably less.  I want everyone to understand this auction was NOT a scam of any kind.  I value my integrity more than money. Excellent forum, by the way.
