Shot out in the Hoh Rainforest. Heavily used the Kenko .3 105mm diopter. Edited in Adobe Premiere.

  2. I'm in the market for an anamorphic setup and my question concerns diopters and anamorphic adapters like the Panasonic LA7200. Most of the diopters I see being mentioned seem to go in front of the anamorphic adapter, and I have seen an an example of a guy velcro-ing 82mm close up lenses on top of the Panasonic adapter.

So my question is, why can't you put a smaller diopter behind the adapter, between the anamorphic adapter and the lens? For example I have a prime set of Nikon Ai-S lenses with 52mm rings on the front. Couldn't I just get some 52mm close up adapters, put those on the lenses, and then attach the anamorphic adapter?

    (something like this?http://www.bhphotovi...se_Up_Lens.html)

Anyone know or have experience with this?

    Thanks so much
