Hi there.
Sorry for the broad question. I'm a video newbie. I work for a company that produces all sorts of educational material and we're thinking of aquiring some video equipment for shooting small lab experiments, intended for primary and high school students.
We have a small budget (2000-3000€ max)
From what I've gathered the basic equipment setup within the budget would be something like:
Accessories
Tripod: manfrotto 055xprob + 701hdv
Circular Polarizing filter + adapters (for dealing with glass reflections)
Lights (which ones?)
Reflector
Rodeo video mic
Camera + lens
Canon 600d plus kit lens (with Magic Lantern)
Sigma 30mm 1.4
Tamron 17-50 2.8 non vc (maybe optional)
Canon 85mm 1.8 or Tokina 11-16 2.8 (different purposes but I prob. can't get both because of the budget)
We have some seller restrictions: I can't pick a GH2 because it's not available or upwards 1000 € and the Sony 5N would need some old manual primes, which I also can't get (main source is ebay).
Again, I'm not very knowledgeable in this stuff. I understant and accept that compromises have to be made due to the budget. So, whith that in mind, do you have any advice/recommendations?
Thanks
