1. He Thierry, There is not yet anything confirmed about the camera (the lens / adapter part) since im using old Contax zeiss lenses im waiting for facts if they work. For now these babies are eating dust, and i'm rarely using them, which i find really sad since these things are quite rare. These will work on some lenses for crop its best to use with a 50/55mm lens (Canon 60d, 600d, 550d etc) on Gh2 they would work easily with 50mm. I have not yet tested them on a Fullframe camera.
 2. He guys, Im selling my anamorphics since im getting the new Black magic design camera. Auction links: http://www.ebay.com/itm/180876305550?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 http://www.ebay.com/itm/180875653313?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649 FYI: The Isco Gottingen Kiptar is made from the Carl Zeiss factories, and it has NO focus scale, meaning when using a diopter, you will be able to focus with your Prime lens only, not the whole anamorphic, this is very RARE, also these lenses are very Sharp! (I have not tested this method of focusing but since it's a fixed anamorphic, it would make common sense in terms of focusing) The Hypergonar is sold with the Lens clamp (55mm thread) and has beautiful flares, and is lightweight, with this one you will need to rack focus, but it has a rather nice focus distance starting from 1 meter till Infinity a video I shot with the Hypergonar attached to a Canon 7D http://vimeo.com/40899151 Sorry if it is in the wrong forum! Cheers Guys! Sico van der Plas

 4. People, comon. There are solutions out there for the battery, for example the V-lock batteries for dSLR camera's, these have been around for AGES, there are mounts with dc power out, they have a Powerplug 15-30V out!! For me it's the crop and workflow expansion.. Going from i7 2600k edit suite, with 150GB per shortfilm to atleast 1TB per project, which is insane for me. I hate it to have it not cover run n gun situations, which still made me not pre order it. Also if there is a solution for my contax zeiss lenses, and wide angle with straight distortion, instead of retarded fisheye distortions.
 5.
Hi Guys, This is Joe Rubinstein one of the partners in the Digital Bolex Project. You are right we did an initial sensor test to make sure that the Kodak chip was the right choice. For this sensor test we modified a GX to have our sensor and processing unit. We loved the images from the sensor so much that we decided to make a short film using it while waiting for the next prototype to come. The current Prototype looks like this... http://sphotos.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash4/417078_915933604947_39610478_38937619_455554040_n.jpg And the philosophy behind this project is to use as much off the shelf componants as possible to ensure reliability and make the camera affordable. We aren't trying to re-invent the wheel here. 2K tech is not new or really that cutting edge. The thing that is new is we are willing to give people what they want. A simple camera at a very reasonable price. DCP worthy footage in anyone's hand for around the same price as a DSLR. Many of you have been very supportive and we greatly appreciate it. Thanks,  Joe
Hi Joe, Since when is 4:2:2 Raw?
