I got it on ebay and I do believe it came from China.

I'm a lens newb so be nice :) I purchased a Tamron 80-210mm on ebay a while back for $5.00 as well as a Minolta MD adapter to m4/3 so I could put it on my GH2. It works reasonably well for a $5.00 lens but I've noticed that it won't focus on far away objects such as the moon. I'm wondering if this is because I need some sort of spacer or something to make the lens the correct distance from the sensor... Thanks for any pointers.
