  1. JimJas, thanks for the comments. We used the Pany 14-42mm kit lens for that shoot. We are located in Jackson Wyoming but we work all over the western US and the world (these shots were done in California). Our gear is setup to travel easily in our vehicle or be checked as baggage onto airlines so we can work world wide on short notice.
  2. Thanks Rich, "RC" means Radio Controlled or Remote Controlled. Our helicopter is about 20 pounds with a 6 foot rotor span and is capable of carrying just about any video camera up to 6 pounds in it's 3 axis gyro stabilized gimbal. I fly the helicopter while my camera operator aims the camera using a separate control system and live video downlink for monitoring. You can find more info on our website, http://www.onlocationaerial.com
  3. We recently provided aerial footage from our hacked GH2, which was to be mixed with ground shots from a FS100 and 5DmkII, for a Specialized Bicycle web campaign. There was concern (not from me) that the little GH2 wouldn't mix in well with the other footage. We were prepared as always with backup Canon cameras, but after the DP saw what the hacked GH2 was producing, it didn't come back off the helicopter for the rest of the shoot. Out of the short clips that made the final edits, the shot at 2:49 in this video is one of my favorites: http://youtu.be/nusDovfm4Rg The rest of the videos can be seen here: http://onlocationaerial.com/projects/specialized.html
