Nice. This is all ethically wrong of course and anyone who blinds themselves to that is one helluva deluded fanboy. If Canon's boss threatened his own customers with nasty emails and demanded their camera back where would they be now, how does it help anyone not least RED themselves? It is incredibly unprofessional in my opinion and it sucks big time. I was considering a Scarlet but not any more. I'll buy from someone who has ethics and who treats filmmakers (and his $80,000 customers) with some respect.
