I'll be shooting a short film soon. I'll be using a 5D Mrk III for most of the video and a GoPro Hero 4 for some wide angle POV shots as well.
My question is; Should I try to use the same Screen Resolution in both cameras? Or, as long as they are both 16 x 9 it's not really going to matter?Eventually, the film will premiere on a "big screen" in a local theatre at a resolution of 1080p.

Please view my latest entry into the "Bike Shorts" competition in Virginia, USA. Here's a link:

It won the "audience choice" award in this small film festival--only 13 entries. However, it recently was rejected in two other film competitions.
My question is: how do you shorten a film like this but still get the idea of the film across to the viewer.
P.S. Please view the entire film. There is a scene after the credits. (Would you have put the final scene BEFORE the credits.)
