I'm new to the forum and have a burning question which I suspect someone may know the answer.
In the main, I am a stills photographer who supplies people such as Getty Images work on a regular basis. But I want to expand my field into providing small film clips; time lapse and hyper lapse.
With the latter, and I don't know if it fits here, I understand the technique of moving the camera around a central point but it's when it comes to the cameraman moving in that I am getting lost.
If you are walking towards a subject that is 100 metres away how do you maintain focus?
