Thanks for the reply. Primes seem not to be a problem having an aperture ring. The issue is more with wide angle zooms. I do a lot of documentary interviews and need to change the focal length without moving the camera physically.

Hello all. I now have a BMCC and just purchased the Canon 10-22mm. I have mounted the lens but I can't seem to control the iris using the "fast forward" and "rewind" buttons. I was able to use them with a Tokina lens so I know how the process works. Any thoughts? I am so use to aperture rings this whole new way is driving me crazy. Any help would be appreciated. Steve

I've tried a number of different SSDs and find the Sandisc Extreme is the most stable for my use. I just got a Samsung Pro SSD and it seems to be pretty stable as well. Did a 30 minute take with it and it was good as well.
