  1. Makes me sad to hear that you are not using your isco.

Cant think of a solution, only those that are at high-risk of damaging the glas but maybe you could ask them to send it in so they can swap it out (for a small fee)? Technically it should work. But anyway it is a shame.

I will contact Mathew and also ask Dante, see if they are willing to do a full rehousing for 1500$. Besides the price, time is also very important. Most of us cant wait 6 Months for their lens to return. Also I will see if they accept a downpayment of 30%. Any other wishes?

If anybody is interested, pm me.

About the long focus throw with the V1: If all you want is a 150 degree focus, then maybe an electronic followfocus might be enough. Redrockmicro got this cool solution (which I have been planning to buy for some time now) :

    http://store.redrockmicro.com/Catalog/microRemote-Bundles/remote-focus-system-finger-control-microremote.html

So instead of a 2800-3000$ rehousing for a 150 degree focus, might as well get a followfocus for 1600$. Or you could get a second isco (though not in best shape) as a backup/spare.

Crossing fingers these 15 V2's will be great - you guys gotta keep us updated.

  2. How long will it take till I see my lens back? A redesign (which is what would be needed) takes 1-2 months in the least - should the start right away. I doubt they will start till they see money first. And even if they start right away, which I doubt since they are know for taking your money and letting you wait a month or two before beginning your work, it will be 3-4 months before I see my lens, no? Probably more, I am counting 6 Months. That would mean all my money and my lens would be gone for 6 Months. Dont know if you can live without your Isco this long but I cant. I think the best way is a downpayment, and paying the full price when the Iscos are done. Anything else seems quite unfair to me - and as a "motivation" for them to finish on time, there needs to be a penalty like a discount if it takes longer. I mean for 15 rehousings they are taking in what 45000$ ? The aluminum parts will be roughly the same as with V1, just a pice or two more, so I dont see the price being justified. Anyone tried asking Duclos? I guess for 15 rehousings he'd make us a fair price. I think 1500$ is more than justified for a small rehousing like that. There are full rehousings of taking lenses that cost 2000$, the isco is rather "simple" in comparison. -H

  3. Oright,

have been looking for an isco54 (as some of you might already know ;) ) for quiet some time now

    and finally I got succesful.

So one of my two isco36 can/needs to go.

Breaks my heart to say goodbye to one of my babies but thanks to the above mentioned deal I am

super short on cash now :/

    SO whats for sale exactly:

Iscorama 36 non-MC, the one with larger/largest rear (if ya luv big booties, this is the one for ya ;) )

    Cosmetics? Perfect, like new. 10/10

Glas? Perfect, 10/10. No scratches, no separation (which is rare on 36 iscos. I had a bunch of non-36 iscos which had no separation but from the many isco36 i saw on ebay or forums or had my hands on, this is the first with 0 separation) no fungus etc, simply perfect.

Only super little micro-dust. But if you dont find a bit of dust in a 60year old lens then something is wrong with it ^^.

And the mechanics? Again a 10/10, super smooth focus. It is the best iscorama I ever had my hands on, which is why i kept it so long. It is basically like new, bought 60 years ago and someone forgot it all the time.

Why sell it when it's so perfect (besides the above mentioned reason)?

Well, exactly BECAUSE it is perfect. I am scared I could accedently scratch it or something happens to it, so I almost never used it until I realized that I'll always be too scared to use this baby and I dont have enough cash to just let her sit on my shelf without doing any work (Baby...somebody gotta pay the bills, so I'm sorry but you gotta go...)

This is probably one of the last perfect Iscorama36 out there. I wont sell it for cheap and quick. Better make me proper offers ;)

I will sell via paypal only, no western union or some other dubious method without securities!

If you are interested, get in contact with me and I will send you high res images.

    Cheers,

    Hydarnes

  4. Hey there,

selling a great zoom lens for anything s16mm but especially great for the BMCC, BMPC, digital bolex and thanks to firmware updates the sony f5 and f55, oh and of course anything RED ;)  - now on ebay.

I am talking about the canon s16 8-64mm T2.4 which can be used on many new digital cameras – in PL-mount!
The lens focuses internally and has virtually no breathing which is why so many pros chose this one over many others!
    Check it out:

Important: I ship to anywhere in the world! icon_biggrin.gif So as long as you got paypal AND an adress that DHL can find, I am fine with it icon_wink.gif

Ebay wrongfully says "shipping to: only pickup" which is. . . well wrong ^^  shipping internationally!

    Thanks icon_smile.gif

    Cheers!

  5. Hey there,

I am looking for an iscorama 54. Glas can have little fungi but no serious damage. Preferably perfect glas of course but just sayin Id still have some interest if some minor issues were present.

Dont we all want non-MC iscos? Well I am interested in both.

Pay? To all scammers... F U cuz I am pretty much the last guy who'd fall for some scammin shit like pay via "secure wire transfere" and the likes, so save your time and mine.

Paypal ONLY unless you dont live too far away and I could come visit you in person ^^

Btw I am in Germany, and I am willing to pay a serious and fair amount of money ( fair as in no bargain, nor redicioulusly high)

If ya got one, plz pm me or post or whatever you feel like.

    Thanks for reading.

    Cheers.

PS I am not exactly "known" on this forum but have sold a few lenses, including an pre36 isco exacta mount    via ebay though posted here to all who are interested :)

would have also loved to see a test chart comparison in resolution and some color comparisons.

Does the gh3 in europe still have the 30min limit? or can I go on recording till my 64gb card is full?
