Hi guys,   Im the owner of an GH2 with the 14-140mm Panasonic lens and the SLR magic 12mm lens.   I'm currently using the Rotolight rl48 light, but it gives me too little light. I'm about to make an event video in a club, and therefore i need more light then my Rotolight gives me at the moment.   So my question is:   Which (portable) light do you use when shooting video with your DSLR? And is it dimmable?   Hope to hear from you, guys!

Thank for your help guys. I did a new test outside. Settings were: HBR mode ISO 160 Infinity focus Aperture F.4 What do you guys think? [url="https://vimeo.com/53837699"]https://vimeo.com/53837699[/url] It also seems that my screen is not as wide as it supposed to be. This lens should be a very wide lens, but it isn't wide at all. Do i have to adjust my settings probably?

Hi there, I'm the owner of a GH2 and today i purchased a SLR Magic 12mm lens. I saw several movies of this combination (GH2+SLR Magic 12mm) and i was surprised of the quality. I tried several locations today, but the image quality is not sharp. By filming close objects my 14-140 mm lens is even sharper. What do i do wrong? Is it because i do not use a viewfinder or something?[list] [*]I'm not using a follow focus, viewfinder or external monitor [*]I film in the HBR mode, 160 ISO, Shutterspeed 1/50 [*]Manual focus (ofcourse) [/list] Hope to hear from you guys!

Thanks for your posts, lads. I knew my test wasn't really fair and straight, but it surprised me. Normally i record on 25p HBR mode. In Sony Vegas i choose for 'match media settings' in the project settings and i render as 25p progressive. This is correct, right? I think i need another lens besides my 14-140mm. Which will suit me best? Samyang 35mm F1.4, SLR Magic 12mm F1.6 or the Olympus 45mm F1.8?

Hi guys, My father bought a Canon 550D yesterday and today i'm doing some tests with it. I made the same shots with my own camera, a GH2, and guess what. I almost see no difference! No color grading. This can't be true, right?

Is it an option to connect my GH2 directly to my computer? And then just copy the bin file?

Does anyone know this solution?

Hi Andrew, U mean the small grey tab, right? I switched it to the opposite of 'Lock' but i still get the same error.

Hi there, I downloaded the newest firmware for my GH2. I tried copying the .bin file into my (formatted) SDcard but it didnt work. I am getting an writing protection error. Somebody know how to fix this? Thanks in adance!

Hello there, I'm using the GH2 for a while now and i'm wondering which settings u guys use for business promo videos. At the moment i'm shooting at the cinematic mode at 24 fps.
