    hi,
it is an issue not with premiere or the pc in general. files look fine on any other pc or mac with the vlc. only on my editing pc even vlc displays these huge artefacts. i suspect now that it must be a codec issues with on this machine. but no idea what it could be?
    any idea?

Well as vlc gives also a problem, than its not adobe.
i think your right and is a codec the problem.

    perhaps this will helps
check the settings in vlc player..
i think by input and codecs....

ps. if vlc have problems with raw gh2 files.
try windows mediaplayer it plays them fine, have you try that?

    Many thanks Mozes!

Do I simply trasnfer this directly to the cam? For, I downloaded that link yesterday from personal view and I as I tried to follow the same procedure by running Ptool 3.36 it said that it was already patched.

In this case, if I first transfer the firmeware will it stay unmodifiede if I add afterwards a patch like the EOSHD Vanilla 44 or others will it be overwritten?

    Its not hacked yet.
Just put the v1.1 firmware on the root of your memmory cart, and update your camera,
If you dont like it, you can put back the orginal 1.0 firmware, or the hacked 1.0 firmware.

Yet, I still have no the 25p PAL option (no HBR option found under creative movie mode either). Although I do see the 12.800 ISO and also I did a shooting today (an interview) for something like less than an hour and consumed a 32GB Sandisk 30Mb/s which means that the bit rate has changed to a much higher rate. So, I wonder:
    Best regards,

    Maria
