Confirmed! Thank god, and now it make the NX1 an even more serious contender. No more converting to huge prores files, just the original small awesome quality files!

EDIT: It's also awesome they are supporting DNxHR, much prefer how it handles color over prores.

Good news for sure, but does this mean it is now possible to edit these files directly without the need to transcode to another format?

It is one thing to support a codec, and another to provide a smooth editing experience. 

Hopefully with the proper hardware support transcoding will not be necessary.
