Can't decide between RX10ii, GH4 or NX1

In Sweden they depreciate like you wouldn't believe.

The only AF lens I've tried is the 30mm. I only used push focus and that's really fast. I also accidentally left the AF on once or twice and it was fast enough for keeping the shots.

I can link an example when I get to a computer later.

Can you tell how much time it takes at average to transcode like a 4k 24p 20 minute file from the NX1 to something usable in an NLE? With an above average PC

About the time I need to take a dump, fix a sandwich and open a beer before editing ;)

Honestly, no idea, I never thought about it.

@Mattias how is the autofocus on the lenses you have for the NX1?

In this video when she walks over the bridge the AF was on and at 1:22 when I lift my Coffey cup it automatically rack focuses to hers.
All shot with the 30mm pancake.

Also in your same video at 1:20, the bike goes by but its motion seems really choppy. Like it doesn't look like the bike is smoothly traveling across at a constant speed but rather kind of throttling - slowing down slightly and then revving up.

That same kind of stuttering is evident in the pans in Samsung NX1 with Cheap m42 Lenses: http://youtu.be/gAzy7n27gXo

I don't know if you can tell what I mean. It's a little convoluted way to describe the effect I think.

Otherwise it looks great! So crisp and beautiful colors!

I think any of the three cameras you name can do well. You just have to pick one and learn to use it the best!

There are so many specs, hidden faults (heating sensors), that to choose a camera is more difficult every time! But in the end you will work with what you have!

I just picked up the Samsung NX1 last weekend. I think it was the best video/photography combo and had i think it was a good deal (€1999,00 with 16-50S lens).

I made some video tests and i'm really impressed, very cinematic image. I was a bit scared for converting time, but converting to Prores with Rocky Mountains converter actually goes quite fast.

Good choice till so far and i'll be testing around this week.

Are you watching on a 60hz monitor?

Most of my monitors can switch back and forth but one of them at work is stuck in NTSC and does that to all my 25p videos.
