What lenses for NX1

Hey everybody,

I sold my MFT BMCC and bought and Matt's NX1. I also plan on possibly buying a Ursa Mini too.

So I'm looking to buy lenses that I can use on both, so that means EF mounts, right?

I had been thinking the Sigma 18-35 and then Rokinon DS 50, 85 & 135 to cover most everything. Thoughts?

I believe Ed David uses Nikons with his NX1...

I would also suggest a wide lens, Sigma 18-35 is an amazing all rounder, sometimes I don't even take it off the camera however on apse sensor 18mm becomes around 28mm so it might not be wide enough in some cases. I also have tokina 11-16 which is wide enough but it's not a great match to sigma art.
Keep in mind the new Aputure DEC adapter lets you control aperture and focus of EF lenses wirelessly and that the pro version is coming out with a focal reducer aka spepdbooster or lens turbo. Just saying.

Those adapters are MTF & Sony E mount only, not the Samsung NX mount.

Had a simple adapter for non-G lenses that worked well: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003JFMRQS?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00

Went with the expensive Novoflex for G lenses: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/687512-REG/Novoflex_NX_NIK_NX_NIK_Lens_Adapter.html

But it looks like you have cheaper options through amazon. Just search "Nikon G to Samsung NX" and you will get a few results.

I bought this one: http://www.amazon.com/Pixco-Adjust-Aperture-Adapter-Samsung/dp/B00FS1EWM8/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1433878966&sr=1-1&keywords=Nikon+G+to+NX&pebp=1433875850743&perid=07JXG032T6K06P8NY44E

It does the job well considering the price of the adapter. It has a really slight play (half a millimeter) but it doesn't affect focusing even with a follow focus unit.
Plus, it has the aperture control ring that you can also find on the more expensive novoflex.

Does the Novoflex control the aperture in the lens or is it one of those with the aperture inside the adapter? Thanks in advance.
